Samantha Fonseca
President & Founder
Samantha Fonseca, 25 years old, lives in Mississauga, just west of Toronto, Ontario. She is affiliated with a variety of different non-profit and charitable organizations that are focused on pursuing many different arenas and means. Samantha currently sits on the Board of Directors for The Canadian Opera Volunteer Committee, a group dedicated to encourage and motivate operatic youth and the opera community through their Endowment Fund. The organization is an advocate of the Arts and supports the youth of our society to strive for excellence. Aside from that, Samantha participates in half and full marathons every year and chooses to raise money for Princess Margaret Hospital. As many friends, family members and colleagues of hers have been affected by cancer, it seemed fitting that she become a crusader for this cause. Samantha has done this for the last three years now and hopes to continue her efforts to raise more money for funding year after year. Her next major task is this charity, designed to hearten the creative juices of not just herself but anyone who is willing to get involved.

Margaret Lai

Over the years, Margaret has participated in several events that have promoted positive
change in her community. In the past, she has taken part in an opportunity through a People to People Ambassadors Program that takes the youth of tomorrow through a whirlwind of cultural adventure, exploring the diplomatic elements of our world. Through her professional knowledge, Margaret also assists at several local CRA Income Tax Volunteer Clinics to help those less fortunate. Her other endeavors have ranged from culturally astute events such as Mississauga’s ethnic annual event, Carrassauga, the CN Tower Climb to raise donations for the United Way, and helping build homes with Habitat for Humanity. Her broad involvement in these events and programs has encouraged her to inspire others, which she also hopes to fulfill through this foundation.

Karen Panico

Karen Panico, 25 years old, currently lives in Mississauga, Ontario. Her hope is to become more involved in helping the community through this foundation. Karen has participated in fundraising events through her place of work. As a member of her company’s social committee, she has been successful in integrating a charitable component to employee events. Partnering with institutions covering a wide range of causes.
